2. Principle & Sovereignty

Our services run on the Internet Computer (ICP) — a decentralized node network, not on a single hyperscaler. We process as little personal data as possible. Below we explain which data we process, for what purpose, and on what legal basis.

3. When Visiting the Website (Server Logs)

When the site is accessed, technically necessary data is processed: IP address (truncated/temporary), date & time, page accessed, referrer, browser/OS. Purpose: delivery, security, stability. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure provision).

4. Contact & Forms

If you contact us by email or via a form, we process the details you provide (name, email, message) in order to handle your request. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual/contractual) or (f) (communication). Form submissions are stored Add storage location/duration (e.g. on-chain canister in stable memory) and deleted once processed, unless retention obligations apply.

5. Sign-in / Internet Identity

For the protected product area we use Internet Identity. This uses a pseudonymous Principal (no real name, no password held by us). We store the Principal for access control. Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.

6. Cookies & Tracking

We do not use any non-essential cookies and no advertising or analytics tracking (no Google Analytics, no pixels, no fingerprinting). The only strictly necessary cookie is ic_env, set by the Internet Computer boundary node when the page is delivered; it serves solely correct and secure delivery, contains no user profile and is not used for cross-site recognition. Legal basis: § 25 (2) no. 2 TDDDG (strictly necessary) in conjunction with Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. A consent banner is therefore not required.

7. Processors & Recipients

• Hosting (engine/backend): Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany — data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR
• Internet Computer / Boundary Nodes: decentralized node network (DFINITY ecosystem) for on-chain delivery
• Fonts (Fraunces, Great Vibes): served exclusively from our own server (/fonts/) — no Google Fonts request, no transfer of your IP address to Google or any other third party
• Add further services (email dispatch, payment provider for the Migrator product) here

8. Your Rights

You have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (16), erasure (17), restriction (18), data portability (20) and objection (21), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To exercise these, an email to info@mingleberrymedia.com is sufficient.
